Getting Started — Clinic Admins
Manage your team, patient access, and invitations
As a clinic administrator, you manage your organization's team, patient access, and invitations on MetricHealth.
1. Your Admin Dashboard
After signing in, you have access to:
- Clinician Management — approve, archive, and invite clinicians
- Patient Management — view all clinic patients and manage invitations
- Invite Codes — issue, rotate, and revoke access codes
- Clinic Settings — update organization information
Like clinicians, admins can enable two-factor authentication under Settings for added account security.
2. Managing Clinicians
Approving new clinicians
When a clinician signs up with your clinic's invite code, you'll be notified.
- Go to Clinicians
- Review pending requests
- Click Approve to grant access, or Reject with an optional reason
Clinicians cannot see patient data until you approve them.
Inviting clinicians
- Go to Clinicians > Invite
- Enter the clinician's email
- Track status: Pending, Viewed, or Expired
- Resend expired invitations if needed
Archiving and reactivating
- Archive — removes access without deleting the account
- Reactivate — restores a previously archived clinician
3. Managing Patient Access
Inviting patients
- Go to Patients > Invite
- Enter the patient's email
- Track status and resend if expired
Invite codes
Manage the codes that clinicians or patients use to register:
- Go to Invite Codes
- View active codes, who issued them, and when
- Revoke a code if it should no longer be used (a new code is issued automatically)
- Review revoked-code history for your records
Code types: clinic-issued patient codes, clinic-issued clinician codes, and per-clinician codes.
4. Subscription & Billing
Your MetricHealth plan and billing are managed by our team. To review your subscription, update your plan, or ask a billing question, contact support@mymetrichealth.com and we'll help.
5. Clinic Settings
- Edit clinic name, company name, and address
- Review the role-based permission matrix

6. Common Workflows
Onboarding a new clinician
Send invitation → clinician registers → approve the request → clinician sees patients
Onboarding a new patient
Send invitation → patient registers → completes onboarding → clinician assigns assessments
Offboarding a clinician
Go to Clinicians → select clinician → Archive. Access is revoked; patient data is preserved.
Rotating invite codes
Go to Invite Codes → revoke the current code → a new code is generated automatically → distribute it to your team
